WE ARE HERE, BECAUSE WE BELIVE IN POLISH SPIRIT.
Natenczas is a platform for people of Polish descent living abroad. The platform encourages Polish descendants to explore and engage with life in Poland, even if it starts with small steps. Its goal is to help them reconnect with their Polish roots and get involved in Poland’s growth.
"With our organization, we aim to play a significant role in shaping the future of our nation by engaging our compatriots, regardless of where life has led them."
— Natenczas founder.
We are launching a portal for the descendants of Polish emigrants. A services and comunity space that has been mising from Polish lanscape.
What is Natenczas?
It's a platform for people of Polish descent living abroad, where they can build a sense of belonging and become part of Poland's growth.
We aim to inspire Polish descendants to explore and engage with Polish life, even if it starts with small steps. That's why we named the portal 'Natenczas'—for these times—because when they start getting curious about their roots (which often happens around their 30s or 40s), they can easily delve into the current state of our country, learn about Polish history, and discover the achievements of its key figures. This curiosity may lead to a desire to take Polish lessons, plan a visit to Kraków, consider buying property here. Maybe they want to invest in Polish startups, or even think about moving here. In short, we offer a gateway for reconnecting with their Polish roots.
Where did this idea come from?
Approximately 20 million Poles live outside of Poland. With Poland gaining positive recognition and growing interest globally—including among the Polish diaspora—we’re at a unique turning point.
Many in this diaspora are part of a third generation, entering they best parts of life, that knows about their family’s past mainly through stories from parents or grandparents. Their ties to Poland may be limited over the years. But today, they see an opportunity to explore their roots and discover the potencial of the country of their ancestors.
Anothet goal is to show people in Poland that they shouldn’t be seen as lost potential as forgotten descendants of the Polish intelligentsia. Instead, they’re can be viewed like our mini-satellites increasingly turning their attention back to Poland. And they can connect with Poland and Poles in many ways, even through online experiences.
A space for Polish descendants
We want to nurture and support the growing interest in our country. This is the core focus of our platform.
We’re a reliable source of information for Poles abroad—one that helps them feel connected to what’s happening here, what’s trending, the social mood, and what fascinates and entertains us. We offer a range of quality online services and cooperate with tutors, travel specialists, investigators, and lawyers experienced in these matters. Next, we want to be a central hub connecting the business talents and strengths of Poles living outside our borders with opportunities in Poland. Our goal is to tap into their business and investment potential, linking them with Poland’s network of valuable companies, startups, scientists, and universities. In short, it’s a dynamic space full of possibilities.
Any examples of your services?
Imagine a scenario where personal history and modern resources intersect, with the portal providing comprehensive support for individuals seeking assistance with property recovery, travel arrangements, or obtaining citizenship.
Consider a granddaughter whose grandparents moved to England during WWII. She seeks assistance in locating her old family home in Mazury. Through the portal, she can connect with specialists who can help her in this quest. When legal support is needed for property matters, she can rely on the portal to find a suitable lawyer. When she is ready to travel, she can access an online travel assistant and a tour guide to explore the area. Her story is managed by individuals with expertise in similar cases. This comprehensive approach allows users to navigate complex processes confidently.
We collaborate with carefully selected and trusted professionals, including researchers, teachers, historians, lawyers, real estate agencies, and travel assistants and guides. We provide online Polish language courses available in various time zones, with lessons offered in both individual and workshop formats. Our language courses cover not only the Polish language but also Polish history in English. This ensures that users of all ages receive tailored assistance from knowledgeable experts in their respective fields.
Interwar social values today
We believe that by fostering a sense of responsibility among all Poles, we can significantly impact our homeland’s development. This approach recalls the ethos of social activists from the interwar period, who were dedicated to improving society.
Today, Poland is building a modern, dynamic society, marked by high-tech infrastructure, growing investment, and an evolving focus on well-being, environment, and healthy living. Our national priorities should include technological advancement, national defense, and maintaining historical accuracy, making it essential for both local and diaspora Poles to support these shared values and contribute to Poland’s ongoing success.
